Good Morning!

Severe weather pounded the state once again last night. No deaths in Alabama, but 2 people died in Georgia when trees fell on their cars. We'll survey the damage and Meteorologist Jeff Jumper will have the forecast for your holiday weekend.

Also on Today in Alabama, the latest on the plans to re-draw the legislative districts. Talks are underway and a proposal to split Montgomery into three instead of the current two districts isn't sitting well with lawmakers. Political reporter Max Reiss will let us know what's happening inside Alabama's legislature.

Plus, a Jefferson County bingo hall is the latest to fall in the recent crackdown on illegal gambling in the state. We'll tell you what happened when police raided Robinwood Bingo Hall, including reaction from some of the people who were playing at the time.
