2013 Memorial Day Parade Monday, May 27, 2013
Participants must line up at 10 a.m. at the former Morrow Elementary School located on Pike St., the parade is to start at 11 a.m.

Afterwards all are welcomed back to the Morrow Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8202 for a light lunch.
Morrow Railroad Days Festival June 6-8, 2013 at Morrow Train Depot
June 6: Food, fun, Karaoke, all-you-can-ride carnival rides for $12 and entertainment for the whole family from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
June 7-8: live music by American Rebels beginning at 7 p.m.
June 8: Parade starts at 4 p.m.; those participating must begin lining up at 3 p.m.at the Salem Township Elementary School on Welch Rd.
June 8: Events start off with a presentation from the Annual Grand Marshall. Followed by the crowning of "Little Miss Railroad" and "Little Mr. Engineer" winners. The Annual Classic Car Show will be held afterwards.
Cincinnati Crossfit Challenge May 27, 2013 at Madisonville's "Crossfit Anax" gym.
Competitors compete in a work-out called "MURPH" which consists of a one mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and another one mile run – all for a time.
The challenge will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. outside on the river at 5799 Panama St.
This event is opened to the public. Competitor registration starts at $35 plus donation fee. General Admission / Spectator fees start at $15 for adults and $10 for children, including all-you-can-eat and non-alcoholic beverages.
All funds go to raise money for the non-profit organization Paul Lammermeier Foundation, which provides homes for children living in Lima, Peru.

Hunger Walk and 5K Run May 27, 2013 beginning at 9 a.m. at Sawyer Point (registration starts at 7 a.m.)
Every dollar donated goes directly to providing food and necessities to those in need.
Each dollar means five pounds of essentials - food, household, hygiene items- to fill the Rainbow Choice Pantry Shelves for those struggling families.
Coney Island opening will honor military personnel from May 25, 2013 through May 27, 2013.
The "Taste of Cincinnati," street culinary festival will be run through Memorial day weekend. The festival will be open from noon to midnight on May 25 and May 26, and from noon to 9 p.m. on May 27, 2013
The festival takes will take place in downtown Cincinnati on six blocks from Race Street to Broadway.
