Traffic Troubles, Baby Drowns, Wal-Mart Fire

June 1, 2011

Good Morning!

Get ready to see more law enforcement on the road. Governor Bentley awarded grants totaling $148,000 to cover overtime expenses for officers during the "Click it or Ticket" campaign. Find out what that means for drivers in the coming months this morning on Today in Alabama.

Also, a tragic story out of Millbrook. A family reported a toddler missing and later found him in the swimming pool. It happened at a home on Canton Road. The boy died a short time later at the hospital. We'll tell you where police are in the investigation.

And authorities in Auburn need your help this morning finding two men who started a fire in Wal-Mart. No one was injured in the fire, but there was quite a bit of damage.

Those stories plus the Doppler 12 Stormvision forecast for today and the rest of your work week.

See you soon,
