The State Forestry Department says the tinderbox conditions in many wooded areas of Alabama are prime territory for forest fires.  There's one part of the state that's under the biggest threat. 

A mother in Chilton County charged with fatally shooting her 11 year old son and wounding his 15 year old brother.  The bizarre details at 6!

Montgomery's sales tax revenues were up - again - in May.  The Mayor runs down the numbers and the trend that's building in the capital city.
