Buddy Rousso is a 3rd generation Montgomerian. His first work experience was in his family's shoe store. After receiving a Bachelor of Sciences in Business Administration from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Buddy returned to Montgomery and began a 20-year career with Shoe City, culminating as Senior Vice President of Administration.
Since 1992, Buddy has been the franchise owner for Miracle-Ear Centers in central Alabama. He is National Board Certified in Hearing Instruments Sciences (BC-HIS, 1994) and became an Audioprosthologist, after completing the American Conference of Audioprosthology advanced hearing aid fitting certification program (ACA, 1995). In addition, he is a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist (COHC, 1995).
Buddy is a member of the International Hearing Society and the American Academy of Audioprosthologists, and is a perennial supporter of the Miracle-Ear Children's Foundation. He is married to Jo Anne Howington Rousso, who is active in the business as the office manager. Together, they have a son and a daughter.
