Navistar LPGA and Prattville renegotiate City's sponsorship

As we reported first on WSFA 12 News at 6:00, there are changes concerning the Navistar LPGA Classic.  The City of Prattville and the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail adjusted their agreement on the upcoming golf tournament.

"By working with Jonathan Romeo, who is the Director of Business Development with the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, I was able to renegotiate our sponsorship agreement for the upcoming Navistar LPGA Golf Classic to accommodate the needs of the tournament in a manner that is equally advantageous to Prattville taxpayers," state Mayor Bill Gillespie, Jr.

Under the terms of the renegotiated agreement, the City will continue to provide in-kind services.  Those services include police support, shuttle buses, fire personnel as needed, paramedic support and support to the Monaco RV Rally.

The Navistar LPGA Classic tees off in Prattville September 12 - 18th.  This will be the fifth year the tournament is in Prattville.
