Sports Minute: Here is the latest Georgia sports news from The Associated Press

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia's defense staged a last-minute goal-line stand and Jake Elliott atoned for a missed extra point with three field goals as the Eagles beat the Atlanta Falcons 15-10 Saturday to move into the NFC championship game. The Falcons, who so memorably blew a 28-3 second-half lead in last year's Super Bowl, won't get a chance to atone for that defeat.

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - Frank Booker scored 17 points while making two late 3-pointers and South Carolina withstood Georgia's strong second-half start to beat the Bulldogs 64-57 on Saturday. There were three ties but Georgia (11-5, 2-3) never led while suffering its first home loss of the season after eight wins. It was the Bulldogs' second straight loss.

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Georgia Tech opened with 13 unanswered points against Pittsburgh on Saturday afternoon and never looked back, defeating the Panthers 69-54. Center Ben Lammers scored 11 points with 16 rebounds for his seventh double-double of the season. Georgia Tech (10-7, 3-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) dominated on the inside, outrebounding the Panthers 39-20 and outscoring them in the paint 40-16.

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - Georgia junior defensive tackle Trenton Thompson is entering the NFL draft despite a decline in production in 2017. Thompson had three sacks and was named MVP in Georgia's Liberty Bowl win over Texas Christian following the 2016 season. He had no sacks in 2017.
