Cleaning Up on the Road to Recovery

Good Morning!

Progress is being made but there's still a long way to go on the Road to Recovery. Debris is being removed daily from Lake Martin as people who live and work in the area try to get things back to normal. This as the busy summer months are fast approaching. We'll show you what's being done to clean things up and make it safe again for folks who want to boat and swim there on Today in Alabama.

The plans are being drawn up to transform Montgomery's Maxwell Boulevard. City leaders are giving developers two and a half months to come up with a plan. Mayor Todd Strange says he's anxious to see their ideas.

And in this morning's education report, Alabama schools are trying to figure out how to abide by the state's new Immigration Law.
