ASU Receives $4.2 Million

Alabama State University announced Wednesday, with the help of a recent grant, it's about to make some big changes. The National Institutes of Health awarded ASU $4.2 million to expand the research infrastructure at ASU through new laboratories, state-of-the-art equipment, faculty professional development and four new research projects.

Although the grant will primarily impact ASU's research capabilities, the university hopes it will also benefit the university as a whole. The grant will be funded over a five year period. The start date was September 30th.
