A cloud of bankruptcy still hangs over the largest of all the tier one Hyundai suppliers. But that may not keep work from re-starting on the 100-million dollar Venture Industries plant in Prattville.
Venture filed for bankruptcy, chapter 11 in March. The company in charge of building the new plant tells WSFA they got word from Venture that they will likely resume building next Thursday.
Venture has promised to bring 600 jobs to Prattville with the average pay around $14.50 an hour. Venture has a contract with Hyundai to make bumpers and other plastic parts.
