Hope you've had a good day - the weekend's almost here!
On to the news of the day. When the prosecution called out his name, everyone in the courtroom sat up and took notice. Country Crossing developer Ronnie Gilley called to the stand late this afternoon. Initially he talked about his early business ventures and how he became involved in electronic bingo in Houston County. We're at the federal building for a live report.
We'll check in with authorities in Troy for the latest on who was arrested at a frat party where dozens were charged with underage drinking.
The principal at Prattville High School is packing up his office and headed south. We'll share the specifics coming up.
Several schools in our area are scrubbed clean and their lawns given a good trimming...all done by volunteers. Who's behind the project...we'll tell you.
And, getting back to the corruption trial again...its been really good for some folks who make a living in downtown Montgomery. We'll talk with merchants who say the proceedings have been an unexpected boon to their bottom line.
Plus, the latest on rain chances for the weekend...which most folks hope are really good.
