MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Preliminary totals are coming in on the weekend state auction that took place in Montgomery.
A "huge attendance" over 1,400 registered bidders made the auction a busy place.
The Alabama Department of Transportation auction saw trucks, vans, tractors and other equipment go on the auction block and it helped the state raise more than $4 million during the two day event.
Officials say the auction wasn't limited to locals. Three farm tractors were sold to an online bidder in Australia
The Friday auction brought in $270,000 and Saturday was $4,097,000.
