Presidential candidate, former Ala. Chief Justice Moore injured in horse accident

GADSDEN, AL (WSFA) - Republican presidential candidate and former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore was injured in a horseback riding accident over the weekend.

According to Rich Hobson, executive director for the Foundation for Moral Law, Moore fell off of a stud horse he was trying to break on Sunday evening and cracked several ribs.

Moore was riding on his farm near Gadsden when the accident happened. He is expected to be OK.

Moore is the president of the Foundation for Moral Law.
