MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Due to an objection in the ongoing Federal gambling corruption trial, Judge Myron Thompson has ordered testimony from Special Agent George Glaser to be sidestepped.

The court has called Jennifer Pouncy to the stand to testify. Pouncy was a lobbyist who pleaded guilty before indictments were handed down. More on her background from our blog.

Pouncy is now on the stand because attorneys feared Glaser's questioning on a conversation with Sen. Jim Preuitt would implicate all of the defendants because of a conspiracy charge.

However, Glaser has a vacation planned and paid for, so his testimony has to be heard by Wednesday, if the judge decides to hear it at all.

We're live in the courtroom now. Hope to see you on the blog!
