GOOD MORNING!

HEISMAN TROPHY WINNER AND FORMER ALABAMA STAR RUNNING BACK MARK INGRAM WAS INVOLVED IN AN EARLY MORNING ACCIDENT WITH AN 18-WHEELER. INGRAM'S TWO DOOR INFINITY CRASHED WITH THE TRUCK JUST BEFORE ONE O-CLOCK THIS MORNING IN HUNTSVILLE. WE'LL HAVE THE LATEST ON THE CONDITION OF THE FOLKS INVOLVED COMING UP ON TODAY IN ALABAMA.

THE MOVE TO TRY TO REDEVELOP GARRETT COLISEUM IN MONTGOMERY IS UNDERWAY THIS MORNING. THE CITY IS FORMULATING PLANS TO FIND A PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP. THE AGING COLISEUM WAS SET TO CLOSE OCTOBER FIRST...BUT THE LEGISLATURE CAME UP WITH 250-THOUSAND DOLLARS TO KEEP IT RUNNING. MORE ON WHERE THAT MONEY CAME FROM AND WHAT'S NEXT FOR THE COLISEUM...THIS MORNING ON TODAY IN ALABAMA.

THEY'RE HELD IN HIGH ESTEEM IN SOME ASIAN CULTURES... BUT USED FOR FISH BAIT IN OTHERS. CRICKETS HAVE INVADED DOWNTOWN MONTGOMERY....TAKING OVER THE STREETS, SIDEWALKS AND, IN SOME CASES, MOVING INTO BUILDINGS. WSFA 12 NEWS REPORTER MELISSA MCKINNEY HAS THE STORY THIS MORNING ON TODAY IN ALABAMA.
