Hundreds of men, women and children are without homes in Montgomery, and one organization is working to give them all the help they can.
The Mid-Alabama Coalition for the homeless held its second annual River Region Connects event.
The charitable event is a resource fair for Montgomery's homeless population. Organizers said the event is a way to bring important services to the homeless people.
The event also helps to give them a head start towards transitioning out of homelessness.
The Coalition's latest homeless county found 662 men, women and children who are homeless around the city.
