COVINGTON CO., AL (WSFA) - A father and his son are both in trouble with the law in Covington County.
Sheriff's deputies say they were attempting to arrest 23-year-old Wesley Cooper for felony probation violations, but his father tried to stop the officers.
Deputies said 52-year-old Richard Cooper continued to interfere with the pursuit, and he was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and obstruction of a governmental operation.
Officer's finally caught Wesley Cooper Sunday morning at his home, and he was arrested without incident.
Both are still being held in the Covington County Jail.
