Victims in Sunday night murder, assault case identified

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The names of two people shot, one fatally, in Montgomery Sunday morning are being release.

Investigators say the victims are Domingo Mendez-Juan,23, and Pedro Qaspar-Pedro, 25, both of Willena Ave.

Montgomery police and fire medics responded to the 2800 block of Willena Ave. where they found the two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Mendez-Juan had multiple gunshots wounds to the abdomen and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Qaspar-Pedro had gunshot wounds to both legs. He was transported to Jackson Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.

Montgomery police say two male suspects are wanted in connection with the case.

Mendez-Juan is Montgomery's 21st homicide victim of 2011.
