THIS COMES AFTER ATTORNEYS FOR THE DEFENDANTS ABRUPTLY DECIDED NOT TO OFFER A DEFENSE TO THE JURY. ATTORNEYS FOR VICTORYLAND OWNER MILTON MCGREGOR CONTEND THAT THE WIRE TAP INFORMATION NEVER PROVED THERE WAS ANY CONSPIRACY.

REPRESENTATIVES FOR CENTER STAGE ALABAMA ARE RESPONDING TO A CEASE AND DESIST ORDER FROM THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE. CENTER STAGE ALABAMA OPENED IN THE CLOSED COUNTRY CROSSING COMPLEX BACK IN JULY WITH ELECTRONIC BINGO. OWNERS INSIST THEIR MACHINES ARE LEGAL, COMPUTERIZED VERSIONS OF "TRADITIONAL" BINGO. FIND OUT IF THEY ARE STILL OPEN THIS MORNING ON TODAY IN ALABAMA.

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A SHOOTING IN MILLBROOK. IT HAPPENED IN THE 43-HUNDRED BLOCK OF DAVIS DRIVE SUNDAY AFTERNOON. POLICE SAY THE ALLEGED SHOOTER FLED THE SCENE IN A BURNT ORANGE MUSTANG. WE'LL HAVE THE LATEST ON THE INVESTIGATION ON TODAY IN ALABAMA.
