UNION CITY, TN (WSFA) - Tennessee and Alabama authorities canceled an Amber Alert for two missing children after they were returned. The kids were abducted by their mother's boyfriend.

Jilleeann Calderon and James Brown were kidnapped from Obion County, Tennessee On July 27 by 51-year-old Terry Nichols. They were not reported missing until late Monday.

Nichols, a Missouri resident, is of no relation to the children. However, authorities say the man also abducted his niece, 16-year-old Ashley Burse, and Burse's 3-month-old baby girl, Ava, from a Wal-Mart parking lot in Missouri on the same day. The child is Nichols' biological child.

Authorities arrested Nichols at a bank drive-through Tuesday morning after employees recognized the man and called police.

The children were said to be safe, though no additional information was released regarding the 16-year-old and her baby.

Nichols has previous criminal convictions for child abuse, is wanted for especially aggravated kidnapping and is known to carry weapons.
