Arrest made in Gas Light Curve homicide

A Montgomery man is charged with capital murder in the August 1 death of a 21-year-old.

Montgomery police took Terrell Pierce, 19, into custody and charged him with murdering Travis Williams.

Williams' body was discovered in an enclosed entranceway of an apartment complex off Gas Light Curve.

MPD investigators believe Williams was killed during a robbery.

Detectives transported Pierce to the Montgomery County Detention Facility where he is being held without bond.

William's is the 22nd homicide victim of 2011 in the city of Montgomery.
