12 schools remain in SEC

The SEC is maintaining its 12 school stronghold on Sunday following a meeting with the league's presidents and chancellors.

University of Florida President Bernie Machen said no action was taken regarding Texas A&M, or any other school during the meeting.

However, the group discussed the criteria for expanding the league in the future.

The Aggie's are reportedly seeking to leave the big 12, and Texas A&M has a meeting about conference alignment Monday.
