Brundidge man in ICU following tractor accident

PIKE CO., AL (WSFA) - A tractor trailer accident in Brundidge sent one man to the hospital Saturday evening.

Chief Davenport with the Brundidge police said Jim Tustin was attempting to move big rolls of hay when his tractor flipped and fell on him.

A family member discovered him pinned under the tractor about four to five hours after the incident occurred.

Tustin was transported to Flowers Hospital by helicopter.

He sustained injuries from a collapsed lung and punctured lung due to a fractured rib.

Tustin also sustained nerve damage and is currently in the ICU.

However, they do not believe his injuries are life threatening.
