The Montgomery city election is next Tuesday.  Tonight, a profile of the candidates running in District 1.

Montgomery's mayor unveiled his proposed budget for the coming fiscal year.  It's $3-million larger than last year's and has a provision for merit raises for deserving city workers.

And, the Buckmasters Expo is underway.  Thousands of hunters, fishermen and outdoor types are in town for the largest exhibition of its kind in the southeast. It runs through 5 Sunday afternoon.  Check out the 300 vendors at the convention center.

Hope you find a cool spot for the weekend.  Be careful out there, too.

See you on the set tonight at 10.
