Co-workers and friends hold fundraisers for family of fallen EMT

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Family and friends raised money today for the family of a fallen emergency medical technician.

Danielle Rene Tinch died unexpectedly at the age of 30 and her death is still under investigation. Tinch's family, friends, and co-workers gathered for a car wash to help raise money for her three children who are ages seven, 11, and 13.

Brantley Green, from Emergency Medical Services, says the fundraiser was a way to give back for all of the years Tinch gave to the EMS.

There are two more fundraisers being held for Tinch's family.

There will be a one-mile walk Saturday, September 3 at Blount Cultural Park. Sign up begins at 8:00 a.m. and costs $10. The walk will begin at 9:00 a.m.

Due to a high volume of calls, Haynes Ambulance Service asks that there be no calls made to them concerning the fundraisers.
