U.S. Marshals find Ala. murder suspect in Fla.

PENSACOLA, FLA. (WSFA) - A man who is accused of shooting and killing another man in Atmore, Ala. has been captured after joint efforts by the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF) in Pensacola and the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF) from Mobile.

Antonio Alberto Crenshaw, 29, was arrested Tuesday at 1:30 a.m. at a room at the Red Roof Inn in Pensacola.

Crenshaw, aka "Ton-Ton" was arrested without incident and charged as a fugitive from justice will be held on those charges. Eventually Crenshaw will be extradited back to Escambia County, Ala. where he will face the homicide charge.

Crenshaw is accused of an early morning murder last Thursday when Atmore Police responded to the 190 Block of Maxwell Street just before 1 a.m.

There authorities found 23-year old Christopher Payne Andrews, not far from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene as the result of multiple gunshot wounds.
