CLANTON, AL (WSFA) -
A two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in Chilton County claimed the life of a Birmingham man.
The crash occurred at approximately 1:40am on the northbound side of Interstate 65 about three miles south of the Clanton city limits.
Jessie Williams Jr., 41, was killed when the 2000 GMC truck he was driving was struck by a 1999 Freightliner.
Williams' truck had run out of fuel and was parked partially in the highway when it was struck by the tractor trailer.
No additional information is available at this time as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this crash.
