Hello from the newsroom!  Hope you're watching our new, WSFA 12 News First at Four!

The state of Alabama is near the top of a list of states the government claims are guilty of making unemployment payments to folks who don't qualify.  We'll talk with the Director of the State Department of Industrial Relations to find out if that's so.

State Rep. Alvin Holmes is hot under the collar today over state plans to cut a number of jobs at the Department of Mental Health.

The U.S. Postal System is considering sweeping cost-cutting measures.  So how will proposals to close offices and cut services affect you?  Find out at 5 p.m.

Business leaders learn more about how to embrace diversity in the workplace.  We'll check in with the conference at the Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center.

Then we're off to Prattville for the first round scores at the Navistar LPGA Classic at the RTJ courses.
