MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Don't forget to smile and have fun.  That's Mr. Peter Dudle's philosophy at Jeff Davis High School in Montgomery.   He's been teaching for 15 years.   This year it's 11th grade history.   "I love seeing their faces light up when they get a concept and they really have it," Mr. Dudle said.

Mr. Dudle knew early on that he wanted to be at the front of the classroom.   "It was always in the back of my mind, then when I went to college I decided that's what I want to do."

The person who nominated Mr. Dudle for the Class Act award says he's a devoted teacher who always finds a way to make the students smile.    "In the 11th grade there's enough of an adult in them that you can talk to them, but also a childlike quality, and they still like to be silly."

Mr. Dudle fits right in.  They're laughing and learning at the same time.  Congratulations Mr. Peter Dudle, you're this week's Class Act.
