Prattville investigating first homicide of 2011

PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA) - Prattville Police confirm they are investigating the first homicide of the year for the city after a Hispanic woman was found stabbed to death.

Authorities say they found 29-year-old Angelica Margarita Gonzales-Perez unresponsive on a couch in her home in Carter's Trailer Park at 9:55 p.m. Tuesday. Gonzales-Perez was suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was later pronounced dead.

Gonzales-Perez lived at the residence with 32-year-old Romer Gonzales Jimenez, a.k.a. Jose Luiz Jimenez.

A warrant for murder has been signed against Romer Gonzales Jimenez. He is listed as a 32-year-old Hispanic male, 5' 6" tall, weighing 170 pounds.
