Pike Road Fire Department Goes Pink!

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month,  Pike Road Fire Department is taking a break from the red and yellow to go pink!

Firefighters at station 1 on Wallahatchie Road, are showing off their pink  fire department T-shirts. Fire department personnel will wear pink throughout the month of October.

Tuesday,they kicked off their "Standing Strong" fight against breast cancer campaign. To commemorate the event, the crew held a training seminar for firefighters, first responders, and ladies auxiliary members.

Kristi Springer, clinical services director at the Montgomery Cancer Center, was the guest speaker.

Pink Pike Road Fore Department T-shirts are available to the public with proceeds benefiting the Wellness Foundation at the Montgomery Cancer Center.

T-shirts are $12.00 for youth and adult sizes. T-shirts may be purchased at Station 1 located at 3427 Wallahatchie Road.
