High school seniors compete in Distinguished Young Women contest

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Around thirty high school seniors are vying for the title of Montgomery's Distinguished Young Woman.

Held at Frazer United Methodist Church, the contest's categories include talent, fitness, poise, and academics.

The top ten finalists will compete tomorrow for the title and the winner of the competition will compete in a state-level competition.

The contest is formally known as the Junior Miss Pageant.

The name changed in June of 2010.
