A LOCAL GROUP TACKLES BULLYING HEAD ON!

Hope you made it through the first day of the work week! (Some of us are STILL at work.)

Our lead story tonight features a group that's tackling the problem of bullying head on.  We'll tell you how they're combating one of the biggest problems kids face these days.

A couple of Auburn University researchers are tackling the problem of oil that's still out there in the Gulf of Mexico...18 months after the Deep Horizon explosion and oil spill.  They're promoting the findings of an "independent" investigation.

If you were headed out east on 1-85 this afternoon after about 5:30...you probably got home a little late.  A car and a truck got tangled up near the Ann Street exit.  We'll show you how it happened.

And, one of the hottest teams in college football gets ready for another SEC opponent this weekend.  We'll preview the Tide and the Ole Miss.  And, we'll have an update on University of Arizona firing head football coach Mike Stoops after a 1-5 start to the season...and a ten game losing streak against big name schools.

Plus an update on rain (drizzle) chances tomorrow.

See you on the set!

Bob H.
