Hello from the Newsroom.
A lot of celebrating tonight in Pike Road. Voters there approved a property tax hike to create and fund a city school system. We'll sample reaction to the vote of confidence for the city's leadership.
Montgomery School Board members voted tonight to allow a consultant to start discussions for the sale of one or more empty school buildings.
A spokesperson for the school system says an 18 year old Lee High School student will likely face expulsion after being caught with a starter's pistol on campus. Another student was arrested for pot possession, too, after the school went on lockdown this morning.
And, we'll introduce you to a woman who does a lot more than just wait tables at a Montgomery restaurant. She's this week's Cash For Kindness recipient.
Look for these stories and a lot more at 10!
See you on the set!
