Arrest made in Montgomery shooting

An arrest has been made in a shooting after a Cramton Bowl high school game leaves one victim in the hospital.

Police have arrested 18 year old Frederick Williams in connection with the shooting. Williams has been charged with assault and is in the Montgomery Detention Facility on a $20,000 bond.

The 19 year old victim is currently in critical condition at Jackson Hospital after receiving multiple gunshot wounds one of which was in the chest.

The shooting took place at the intersection of North Hilliard Street and Madison Avenue after the Carver and Lanier high school football game just after 10:00 p.m. last night.

Witnesses say the shooting happened following multiple fights in the area.
