Brundidge continues history with Annual Peanut Butter Festival

BRUNDIDGE, AL (WSFA) - Saturday marked the historical 20th Annual Peanut Butter Festival in the city Brundidge.

Those in attendance took part in several events including arts, crafts and the peanut butter parade featuring the Pike County high school band.

Brundidge was one of the first towns in Alabama to start producing peanut butter and the peanut remains one of Pike County's most important crops.

The Brundidge Historical Society is the sponsor of this annual event.
