Wednesday

November 9, 2011

Good Morning!

The search intensifies for a new state school superintendent. The state Board of Education has narrowed the field down to 4 candidates. Three of them will be interviewed today. WSFA 12 News Reporter Melissa Johnson will have details this morning in a live report.

Also this morning on Today in Alabama, four men are in custody in Troy suspected of operating an illegal shot house. We'll tell you what led the police to the location.

Plus, a plea from a woman who says we should all get our flu shot. She tells us about losing the love of her life, her husband of 23 years, to a condition that started when he got sick with the flu.

Those stories, plus the latest sports and weather, this morning from 5-7 on WSFA 12 News!

Thanks for watching Today in Alabama!
