Power has been restored in storm ravaged areas

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Folks are waking up to repairs this morning after a line of storms caused severe weather yesterday.

The National Weather Service has confirmed two tornadoes touched down in Marengo and Sumter Counties.  Later today they will survey the storm damage in Montgomery, Elmore, Tallapoosa, Macon and Lee counties to determine if tornadoes touched down there.

Alabama Power officials have confirmed that power to all customers in Montgomery and Auburn has been restored.
