MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

My friend (and Fever OT contributor) Graham Dunn asked me to predict/analyze the Iron Bowl, and here's what I sent him (for his River Region Sports website).

Feeding off the crowd, Auburn's scripted first drives, replete with Gus Malzahn's trademark trickery, result in 10 points for the home team.

Auburn's defense, geared to stop the run, works for awhile, but A.J. McCarron responds by hitting some big passes, forcing AU to adjust to respect the passing game.

That's when Trent Richardson explodes, progressively gaining more chunks of yardage as Auburn's thin-on-depth defense wears down as the game goes on.

Meanwhile, Alabama's defense tightens its grip, forcing mistakes from Clint Moseley and limiting Kiehl Frazier's effectiveness rushing.

Bama: 35
Auburn 13
