Immigration Survey Results; Troops Coming Home

Thursday

December 15, 2011

Good Morning!

Alabamians speak out about the state's new immigration law. WSFA 12 News Reporter Melissa Johnson has an exclusive look at the results of a recent survey and reaction from some folks right here in the River Region this morning in a live report on Today in Alabama.

Also this morning, the final troop withdrawals happen today. Thousands of troops have been making their way home from Iraq since President Obama announced it earlier this year. We'll take a look at the last group to make that long-awaited trip back to the States.

And the Today in Alabama team will be at a local store this afternoon in hopes of inspiring the community to make Christmas merry for hundreds of children in need this holiday season. Find out how you can help and get your picture with the TIA anchors and reporters.

Those stories, plus the latest sports and weather, straight ahead from 5-7am on WSFA 12 News!

Thanks for watching!
