WSFA RECIPE FOR DECEMBER 14,2011

 

Beef,bleu and poached pears too!

 

 

 

 

I LOAF OF FRENCH BREAD CUT INTO ROUNDS, BRUSHED WITH OLIVE OIL AND GARLIC SALT AND TOASTED

½ CUP OF LEFT OVER BEEF

4 PEAR HALVES SOAKED IN RED WINE FOR SEVERAL HOURS

½ CUP BLEU CHEESE

4 OZ OF CREAM CHEESE

4 SLICES OF CRUMBLED BACON

 

SLICE BEEF VERY THIN.  REMOVE PEARS FROM WINE AND PAT DRY. CUT INTO THIN SLICES. MIX BACON WITH CREAM CHEESE.

TAKE CREAM CHEESE MIXTUERE AND SPREAD EVENLY ON CROSTINI. TOP WITH THIN SLICES OF PEAR AND BEEF AND THEN TOP WITH CRUMBLED BLEU CHEESE.
