MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Where did 2011 go?  For some it couldn't have ended soon enough and for others it went by way too fast.  Have you given thought to any resolutions for the New Year?  If you haven't it's not too late.  Go ahead and grab a pen and paper and I'll throw ten ideas your way to get you started.

Spend more time with family and friends – you will never hear anyone in their last days say I wish I spent more time at the office.

Exercise – make it a point to do something at least 3 times a week

Manage stress – set priorities each morning, delegate and take a lunch break

Quit smoking – have the courage to take that first step as the payoff will be great

Get out of debt – Pay yourself first and don't spend money you don't have

Learn something new – take guitar or piano lessons, learn another language

Volunteer – Giving back to others unselfishly is a way of blessing yourself

Get organized – clutter is a time thief.  Reduce it and you will have more time to do the things you want.

Fall in Love – open your heart to the possibilities and see where it takes you

Enjoy Life - A wise friend once told me "it's okay to give yourself permission to be happy now."  Don't delay happiness for retirement – live and experience each day in the fullest now.

Here's to a fantastic 2012!

We appreciate and encourage your feedback.
