POLICE INVESTIGATE FATAL ACCIDENT IN WETUMPKA

Hello from the WSFA 12 Newsroom -

Police are waiting to release the name of a man killed in Wetumpka about 7 tonight.  Officers say the man was struck and killed as he walked onto U.S. 231.

A woman says her two sons were told not to come back to Prattville High School because she couldn't prove the family lived in the school district.  We'll get the school's side of the story, too.

The University of Alabama's football team flew into New Orleans late this afternoon.  The LSU Bengal Tigers took the bus for the short drive in from Baton Rouge.  We're there for the story of the days leading up to the national championship game next Monday night.

And have you heard?  Some folks in Alabama are suing to keep Barack Obama off the Alabama Presidential Primary - claiming he hasn't proved he's a U.S. citizen.

Plus, a forecast that includes much milder temperatures - day and night.

Hope you'll join us on the set...at 10!

Bob H.
