PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) -
Investigators have arrested an Alabama man in the fire that gutted a Florida abortion clinic.
Federal and state officials announced the arrest of Bobby Joe Rogers of Tuscaloosa on Thursday.
They say Rogers set the Sunday morning blaze that gutted the Pensacola clinic, which has a long history of violence.
The clinic was bombed on Christmas Day in 1984, and in 1994 a doctor and a volunteer who escorted patients to and from the clinic were shot to death as they arrived.
The gunman, Paul Hill, was executed in 2003. No one was hurt in Sunday's fire.
