Authorities Search for Storage Unit Burglar

OPELIKA, AL (WSFA) - Lee County Authorities are on the hunt for Dennis Adam Melton.

He's wanted on several new pending felony warrants including burglary, theft of property, and criminal mischief in Smiths Station. He posted $12,500.00 bail on January 4,2012. Melton has new charges pending after the Lee County's Sheriff's office issued a search warrant for stolen property at Rock's Storage Units.

The search revealed up to $6,000 worth of stolen property from individuals that were renting out storage units from both Panther  Mini Storage and Rock's Storage Unit in Smiths.
