Roadway to close after truck drops mobile home on W. Boulevard

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery Police Department is scrambling to clean-up after an accident left a mobile home in the center of the Western Boulevard.

According to the Montgomery Police Department, authorities will shut down part of the Western Boulevard for at least 30 minutes while the overturned mobile home is righted.

Police say an 18-wheeler pulling the mobile home exiting I-65 northbound on to the Western Boulevard maneuvered to turn east when the mobile home it was carrying shifted and overturned.

Crews on scene estimate it will take two and a half hours to clear the roadway.

Traffic will flow slowly once the Boulevard is re-opened until the accident can be fully cleared. Motorists are advised to expect delays and exercise caution.
