House Collapse Kills One; Charter Schools in Alabama

Thursday

January 26, 2012

Good Morning!

Tragedy strikes at a house in Tallassee. A worker is trapped inside a home that was being demolished. We'll have the latest on the investigation this morning on Today in Alabama.

Also, there's a controversy brewing over a business idea in West Montgomery. Someone wants to turn their home into a bed and breakfast... but their neighbors say "No Way"! We'll hear from both sides this morning in a live report.

And former Healthsouth CEO Richard Scrushy is looking at less time in prison. A judge shaves some of the time off Scrushy's sentence after the state drops two of the charges against him.

Plus, severe weather could be headed our way again today. We'll follow the path of a line of storms that has already left damage behind in Texas and Mississippi. Meteorologist Josh Johnson has the forecast for today through the weekend.

Those stories and more this morning from 5-7 on WSFA 12 News!

Thanks for watching!
