TROY, AL (WSFA) - Alabama State Troopers are releasing their findings into the Pike County school bus wreck that happened Friday, January 20, 2012.
Troopers say the driver of the bus was coming through a curve while traveling north on County Road 2243. As the driver made the curve, the report says the right side tires left the roadway.
Troopers say the bus completely left the roadway, and as the driver brought the front tires back onto the pavement, the back of the bus slid to the right and made contact with wet grass.
The bus, carrying 41 passengers on its way to Goshen Elementary and High schools, overturned onto its right side.
The bus rollover before coming to rest on the driver's side.
No serious injuries were reported in the crash.
Troopers say they do not expect any criminal charges to be filed against the bus driver.
