In severe weather - keep kids at school - or go home early?

Hello from the anchor office in the WSFA 12 Newsroom!

When severe weather approaches, what goes into the decision of whether to keep kids in school or send them home early?  We'll talk with a woman whose son got to spend the afternoon at her office...because his school dismissed early when storms moved closer to Montgomery.

Alabama is atop a new list...which is not a good thing.  Here's a hint: it has to do with tornadoes.

GOP presidential hopefuls continue to raise money in Alabama and to pick up endorsements from fellow Republicans.  So who's raised the most money?  And which Alabama politicians are aligned with which candidate?  We'll tell you at 10pm!

And, authorities identify a man's body found in Ariton on Tuesday.  It's a man missing from Clio in Barbour County.  Investigators say foul play was involved in his death.

Plus, the storms are "outta here" for the night...and the weekend, too.  But will it turn cold again....after all it's still January.  Find out in tonight's weathercast.

Hope you'll join us.  We'll be looking for you at 10pm!

Bob H.
