Troy head coach Larry Blakeney announced the signing of 23 student-athletes to a National Letter of Intent at a press conference Wednesday afternoon in Veterans Memorial Stadium.

The Trojans beefed up on the defensive side of the ball as they signed six defensive backs, three defensive ends, two linebackers and two defensive tackles. Offensively, Troy signed three wide receivers, three running backs, three offensive linemen and one quarterback.

The Troy coaching staff signed 10 players from the state of Alabama, seven from Florida, four from Georgia and one each from South Carolina and Texas.
